Our Tick Performance Turbo Stage 1 Camshaft is an entry-level upgrade and is intended for 290ci (4.8L) to 376ci (LS3) engines using a smaller turbine single turbocharger with up to an 87mm turbine wheel.  Just because this is an “LS3” cam does not mean you cannot use this camshaft in a smaller engine with cathedral port heads!  You will notice a slight difference in idle over the stock camshaft (with a nice lope) but you'll notice an even bigger improvement when you jump on the throttle!  This camshaft will not work in vehicles equipped with VVT or DOD.  If your vehicle still has these systems, they will need to be deleted at the time of the camshaft install (parts sold separately.)  We strongly suggest the use of our Tick/PAC Dual Valvesprings and hardened pushrods with this camshaft (also sold separately.)  Hundreds of hours were spent developing this camshaft to perform precisely the way we advertise, so as a result, changes to the LSA or any other specification of this camshaft are not available.
